We were so honored to work with American Girl on their NY Store opening Gala and Character Counts Ceremony. For 30 years, American Girl has encouraged and protected important values like compassion, courage, tolerance, and love—values that help build character and are more vital in our world than ever. This event honored exemplary women and girls who embodied these same ideals and to highlight this important, but often forgotten, piece of our culture today: strength of character. As part of this event, American Girl shined a light on AG’s Character Counts initiative, which is meant to help girls think about their own character and the kind of person they want to be and to empower them to be a positive force for change. Honorees included : Author philanthropist Jessica Seinfeld; actress philanthropist Mariska Hargitay; Scarlett James, cancer survivor and Memorial Sloan Kettering advocate and Amaya Scheer, advocate for children entering the foster care system.
